THE DRIVER’S LICENSE FOR THE WORKPLACE

You’d never hand over your car keys to a young person just because they celebrated their 16th birthday and were suddenly of a legal age to drive. Not without them obtaining a driver’s license. A driver’s license is proof that the holder has been trained to operate a motor vehicle, has been road-tested, and has met a recognized standard of proficiency.

Valid certifications are essential for SCUBA instructors, airline pilots, teachers, anesthesiologists, and social workers. Heck, many parents won’t allow their kids to be babysat by anyone who hasn’t earned a Red Cross safety certification.

Certification matters and employers know it!

While many major employers are insisting that their front line staff completes A Game training, a growing number of employers are requiring all job applicants to bring their A Game certification with them to the job interview. This levels the playing field between the young worker and their manager as both understand the standards and expectations that come with A Game certification. It virtually eliminates "I didn’t know…" from the employee’s vocabulary on the job.

The Bring Your A Game to Work Certification course is not an online test

It’s a fully engaging eLearning experience that captures a participant’s imagination, attention, and transforms values by teaching to the head AND the heart.

The incredible Confidence Based Learning platform the A Game certification is built on is so revolutionary, it’s received a US Patent. Unlike so many other online tests and programs, The A Game certification is one that participants enjoy and excel at because it thinks like they do.

It first assesses what they already know about these 7 work ethic values, so as not to bore them by covering that which they already fully understand.

Next, it teaches them what they don’t know by involving them in real world situations and peer-led discussions using words and language they understand and relate with. There are more than 20 clever videos interwoven within the training portion of the certification course, and young people LOVE them!

Finally, it certifies them with 100% proficiency in the 7 values through rigorous, yet entertaining, testing methodologies. No one completes their certification without a perfect score, so holding A Game Certification really means something to employers.

Who is the certification for?

The A Game’s online certification program has been designed primarily for young people who are a) preparing for their first jobs, b) already working part-time/seasonal jobs, or c) contemplating or pursuing career choices and career paths. It’s ideal for ages 14-19, but even those in their early 20’s are giving The A Game certification program great reviews!

How long does it take to complete the Bring Your A Game to Work certification program?

Some takers have completed the certification in one hour; others have needed eight hours to get through the material. However, once a participant enrolls, they can log off and back on as many times as necessary to complete the certification. Each time they return, they’ll be able to pick up where they left on the previous session, so they can concentrate all their energies on only those values they need to develop and commit to.

What happens after a person completes A Game certification?

Upon completing the certification, the participant is emailed a code to print out a signed, personalized suitable-for-framing color certificate. They will also have their name entered into a secure national database where prospective employers and recruiters can verify their name to see that they indeed completed the certification and are ready to Bring Their A Game to Work!
